Pinellas County, Florida, will
elect three School Board Members this election cycle. An election
has never been more important. National reports have labeled our
schools as "dropout factories."
Almost a third of our students fail to graduate on
time. Among black males the failure rate is is twice that. Something has to
be done!
August 26, 2008, is the first test for candidates.
Voters from all parties will narrow the contests to the top two vote
getters in each race.
